It's been awhile. I almost thought I lost this baby site of mine. Anywho, so I just finished writing my query letter because...quess what? I am sending on of my books out to agents! So that they get published! How cool is that?! I have to admit I really didn't want Grey Skies to be my first published one because I have so many other good ideas but then again...Gray Skies is an awesome story and if I don't get it published, no body will ever have known the story and how GOOD it was. I guess I'm also a little bit reluctant because it's a vampire novel and you know...well...vampire novels are a little over the top lately with obsession and such.

So...yeah, my books going to be sent out. First though I got to hunt for agents. I got Craig for that :) Craig's awesome.
It's Christmas time by the way. And I'm going to turn seventeen soon. How cool would that be? To get my book published or find an agent before or ON my birthday? Best birthday for sure!
I have homework...I think...I can't remember. If I do though I'm not doing it. I'm listening to a playlist Carrie made for me, I think I'm going to try and put it on here. I'm also typing to you (Duh) and I WAS waiting for Craig to get up so he could read my query letter but now that he is awake I'm just nervous...you know? What if he thinks it's bad and I have to rewrite it all? Oh well. I'm going to get that a lot in the future if my book is accepted anyways.
My two english teachers that I gave the book to for Christmas LAST YEAR still haven't read Gray Skies. STILL! I have given Carrie a copy, and just let my other friends share another and I have gotten a lot of good feedback which is great. I want to know what teenage girls are thinking you know? But it couldn't hurt to know the point of view from an adult or professionals point of view. I haven't talked to Parkin, who I had last year. She might have read it by now. I can go ask her. But Simpson hasn't, I know. I asked to borrow the book to her to lend to a girl that goes to the U. I'm really psyced. Whenever I pause and think about it, I realize that even though Gray Skies isn't my best work. It still pretty is kick a! And for my close friends, if it get's published, I'm giving them a free copy and we're going to party! and for everyone else? Like my teachers that didn't read my book? Well they can just go out and buy one. Ha.
So if it ever does, you know, come out, I don't want to ruin it for you guys but I guess I could just cut a clip from the book. A good part. To get you kinda hooked and looking forward to it, right?
*does a little dance in a circle* Carrie's playlist is really good. Thanks for making this for me!
